5 Ingredient Barbecue Deviled Eggs

5 Ingredient Barbecue Deviled Eggs | Faith, Hope, Love, and Luck Survive Despite a Whiskered Accomplice

Happy 1/2 Birthday to Me. Happy 1/2 Birthday to Me. Happy 1/2 Birthday to MEEEEEEEEEEEE! Happy 1/2 Birthday to Me. Can you guess what today is? It’s my day. Today is my own special holiday, which I created all by myself for myself. It’s the one day out of the year that I unashamedly let my selfishness show. Today is also the day I force people to acknowledge that people with December birthdays are royally screwed each and every year and that this December baby, in particular, refuses to just let it go. I will spend my 1/2 Birthday in the sunshine instead of the snow, I will not be forced to smile falsely while receiving yet another Christmas-themed birthday gift, and I will not spend the day with just family because everyone else is at the mall finishing up their last minute shopping or attending an office holiday party.

So what does a girl like me want for my 1/2 Birthday? Why this Crock-Pot® 5-in-1 Multi-Cooker by Crock-Pot of course. My crockpot is on its last legs and I’m ready to trade it in for a new fancy-dancy one with all of the bells and whistles. I have B.O.B. Bob convinced that this is something I need desperately. I know it’s a little on the frivolous side but with Crockpot Monday happening every week, it will definitely pay for itself…eventually. Plus, it’s $20 off right now. Happy 1/2 Birthday to me. Oh, and as if that’s not greedy enough, I also want all of the things I’m sharing this week on the right side of my page as you scroll down. I wanna spend my 1/2 Birthday rocking out in my “Let’s Brew” t-shirt while pickling red onions with my new pickling crock set, sharing my salami of the month with close friends, and cutting fancy shaped vegetables with my new mandoline just for the pure Hell of it. Oh, and I also want to eat deviled eggs, because what’s a birthday without deviled eggs? Deviled eggs are the new cake.

Suggestions:

  • This is my preferred method of How To Hard-Boil Eggs.
  • Do not drizzle the barbecue sauce onto the eggs until ready to serve. If left to sit too long the additional barbecue sauce will become watery. It won’t hurt the taste, but it doesn’t look as appetizing.
  • If using a less thick variety of barbecue sauce, you may need to reduce the amount used in this recipe.

Improvements:

  • As with any deviled egg, the magical improvement is always bacon.
  • Try using a mustard-based barbecue sauce in this recipe.
