It’s been a busy week. Adaption to working again has not been going so well for me, and quite frankly I am overwhelmed. Not so overwhelmed that I haven’t been dreaming about things I want to make, places I want to go, and things I want to do though. So here are thirteen lovely things that have captured my heart this week, or given me cause to celebrate.

Can you believe it’s almost that time of year again? We are so ordering this larger Skeleton Dog on Leash from Grandin Road, to keep our little one from last year company in the yard. Look at those adorable little ears.
Roasted Almond, Chocolate Chunk and Cocoa Nib Cookies with Black Lava Salt from Outside the Cereal Box will finally give me an excuse to break open the cocoa nibs I recently purchased.
I need to find a friend that has Starz, or convince B.O.B. Bob that I can’t live without it, because Outlander starts August 9th. It’s been a long wait, and I can’t wait to see how well/bad they did at making the books come alive.
Super excited to be seeing Yo-Yo Ma in concert this weekend. And I do mean SUPER EXCITED!
Garnish with Lemon’s Chicken with Feta Cheese Sauce looks so very good, and so very simple at the same time. I’m a “feta”holic.
B.O.B. Bob and I have finally settled on a vacation plan concept. Sounds odd, huh? Basically we have a destination in mind, and we’re going to hit some fun places along the way. I’m stealing Nooschi’s idea and ordering Boston Cream Pie from the Omni Parker House Hotel for breakfast.
I haven’t forgotten my Pay It Forward list of people for 2014, I’ve just been busy paying it forward to people that didn’t make the list. I promise lots of surprises to come in the near future though. Some of them yummy, some of them silly, and some of them with little touches of “love” from Brenna.
Why won’t the garden squash grow when you want it to? I really, really, really want to make these Spicy Squash Refrigerator Pickles from A Farmgirl’s Dabbles, but my vines are not cooperating.
It’s time for a new batch of ice cream, and the winner is Lady Behind the Curtain’s Almond Joy Ice Cream. Yum.
It’s manicure week, and I’m wishing/praying/hoping that they have OPI’s Vant to Bite My Neck? as featured on Peachy Polish at my local nail salon.
I am so making these Overnight Cinnamon Buns from MBAKES this weekend. Who wants to have breakfast on Sunday?
