The Thursday Thirteen – 07/27/2017

Here in Virginia, this week has been absolutely lovely in the weather department; cooler than the previous few weeks with a lovely light breeze. The milder weather has seriously put me in a Halloween planning mood. That may seem crazy to most of you. but for us here folks at The Historic Herndon Halloween House, it’s a pretty special time of year that requires a lot of planning, thought, and crafting. Last year, the theme was Whispering Tombstone Cove, which I think turned out to be absolutely fantastic, however, this year, the theme is going to be even better. Unfortunately, it requires me making a lot more tombstones for the graveyard, which involves me and a lot of paint. Things are bound to go hilariously wrong so stay tuned. Until then, here are a few things that I’ve been fixated on recently.
