The Best of 2024 – Top 12 Recipes

2024 was a year to remember, especially when it came to brown sugar cookies, side salads, recipes made using a homemade Italian herb seasoning mix with no salt, and deviled egg recipes. Today, we’ll be taking a look back at the year’s top twelve most mouth-watering and memorable recipes.

By now, our long-time readers know that each month of the year, we choose one recipe that is our absolute favorite of the month. That way, at the end of the year, we can easily take a look back at our list of favorites and know which recipes we want to make again and which recipes we want to suggest that others make as well. In 2024, when it came to creating new recipes, we weren’t quite as productive as we were the year before. However, the 2024 Alphabet Challenge did result in us sharing recipes on a more regular basis and it was also responsible for 26 of the 60 recipes and 5 recipe round-ups we shared throughout the year.

Nine out of this year’s top twelve recipes are actually from the above-mentioned alphabet challenge which featured a consecutive letter of the alphabet, starting with A in January and ending with Z in December. So, when it came to deciding whether or not we should participate in this challenge again in 2025, the decision to once again join in the fun was pretty much a no-brainer. I mean, come on, with recipes like these Italian Deviled Eggs with Heart-Shaped Tomatoes, this Whiskey-Soaked Raisin Baked Stove Top Stuffing, and this Butternut Squash Soup with French Herbes how could we not want to continue the challenge?
