2023 was a year to remember, especially when it came to tasty zucchini, cookie, butternut squash, muffin, and deviled egg recipes. Today, we’ll be taking a look back at the year’s top twelve most mouth-watering and memorable recipes.

In 2022, I did a shockingly bad job of sharing new recipes with y’all. In total, I only published 29 recipes and 1 recipe round-up. However, in 2023, I really stepped it up by sharing not only 82 new recipes but also 10 recipe round-ups. A pretty drastic comparison and one that I’m quite proud of. In addition to those new recipes and round-ups, I also spent a great amount of time cleaning up older recipes so that they not only look nicer but also have the same helpful layout that our newer recipes have. It’s been so useful to look back at older recipes to see what areas I need to focus on in the future and which recipes seem to be the most well-received. I’m always on a mission to add more variety to our collection of recipes, while still making food that we genuinely want to eat.

By now, our long-time readers know that each month of the year, I choose one recipe that is my absolute favorite recipe from that particular month. That way, at the end of the year, I can easily take a look back at my list of favorites and know which recipes I want to make again and which recipes I want others to make as well. There were so many times this year that I had a seriously hard time deciding on just one recipe. These Bacon & Chive Deviled Eggs with Hot Honey, these Banana Chip Cookies with Melted Caramel, and this Rum Raisin Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce are just a few examples of recipes that I fell head over heels in love with but did not make the final cut because there was another recipe that month that was just so amazing. Today, I’m sharing the outstanding 2023 monthly winning recipes that did make the final cut with you. I hope that you’ll enjoy them just as much as I did.
