Taste of Home April/May 2016

Taste of Home | Faith, Hope, Love, and Luck Survive Despite a Whiskered Accomplice

Yesterday I received a surprise in the mail. Well maybe not a surprise exactly, but something I had certainly forgotten about. Taste of Home sent me an advance copy of the April/May 2016 edition of their magazine. It’s not the magazine pictured above, because the photo of the upcoming edition has not been released to the general public yet. Instead this cover’s main subject is Slow Cooker Recipes! How perfect is that? There are loads of ideas for Crockpot Monday.

So I bet you’re wondering why exactly is this so darned exciting and all. I’ll tell you why. My picture and recipe are on page 49. That’s right folks; I’m in a magazine. The magazine fell right open to the page my recipe was on too. How weird is that? The recipe Taste of Home chose to feature of mine is one of my favorites too. It’s my recipe for Bourbon Candied Bacon Deviled Eggs. Yum! I wonder how many people will actually make my recipe?

Anyway, in the next month or two, if you happen to be standing in the checkout line and see a Taste of Home magazine, pick it up and look for me and my recipe. We’ll both be staring back at you from underneath the recipe for Layered BLT Dip and left of the recipe for the Cobb Salad Sub. We’re in good company. The deviled eggs and I won’t have to worry about getting lonely or bored while we’re waiting for you to find us. Oh, and if you happen to miss us, don’t fret; I’m sure I’ll be buying like a million copies to hand out for Christmas.
