4-Year Blogiversary – Top 4 Recipes

Over the past four years, I have become involved in many specialty blogger cooking groups, such as Bundt Bakers, Fish Friday Foodies, Soup Saturday Swappers, Fantastical Food Fight, Food n’ Flix, and Improv Cooking Challenge. At one point, I even began my own group called Crockpot Monday, however, as of late, that has fallen a little by the wayside. While I have loved being a part of each and every single one of these groups, I feel that perhaps the time has come for me to not rely so heavily upon them. You see, while I love the fact that their themes encourage and inspire me to come up with unique recipes that I might not otherwise think of on my own, the stress of meeting deadlines and sometimes rushing to come up with a recipe that is just so-so, doesn’t particularly make me very happy.

Instead of taking part in each group, every single month, I have decided to pick and choose which ones I would like to take part in. I’m hoping that this will leave me more time to develop some of the recipes that I really feel a more significant attachment to. Don’t worry, I’ll still be making plenty of Bundt cakes, after all, I now have a serious collection of pans stored in my garage, and it would be a complete shame to not put them to good use. I would also miss the lovely group of people that I have met through each of these blogger groups as well. On days and months when I am overwhelmed, it is often they who understand most what is like to just get burned out in the kitchen. With that said, I would like to share my four favorite recipes from the last year with you, which would not have come to fruition without at least one of the specialty blogger groups mentioned above.
