This Week’s Friday! Friday! Friday! Favorites! Featured Recipes:
German Goulash Soup (Gulaschsuppe) from Savory Moments
On Saturday, I celebrated National Soup Swap Day, as well as Soup Saturday Swappers with several of my fellow blogging friends. There were so many great soup recipes, besides my Italian Asiago Artichoke Ham & Bean Soup, that it was really hard to pick just one to feature in today’s post. This goulash recipe was definitely my favorite though. I can’t wait to give it a try.
Vegan Thai Roasted Carrot Soup from The Baking Fairy
I told you I couldn’t pick just one soup. There were just so many amazing ones, like this vegan carrot soup. It has all the flavors I love in one little bowl. I’m not going to even try to resist.
Adjaruli Khachapuri (Georgian Cheese Bread) from Caroline’s Cooking
The next holiday we celebrated this week was National Cheese Lovers Day. To celebrate, I shared a recipe for Sweet Gherkin Pimento Cheese Spread, or what I like to call cheesy heavenly goodness on a cracker. One of the recipes from the same day that really caught my eye was this cheesy bread. It’s pretty much ooey gooey cheesy perfection, don’t you think?
Chicken Madeira from House of Nash Eats
Another cheesy dish I fell in love with this week, was this chicken recipe inspired by a dish served at The Cheesecake Factory. Considering it’s the one thing I order over and over again when I go there, you better believe I’m pretty excited that I can now replicate it at home.
No Churn Peanut Butter Ice Cream from Karen’s Kitchen Stories
And finally, there’s this National Peanut Butter Day recipe, which has me wanting to run to my garage and break out my ice cream machine. I know, I know, the recipe says “no churn,” but if you have the “churn,” why not use it? This ice cream combined with my recipe for The Best Double Chocolate Buckeyes would be simply killer.
