Gambas al Ajillo (Spanish Garlic Shrimp) from Caroline’s Cooking
I have a three-day weekend. Let’s hope that means that I’ll get to spend a little creative time in the kitchen. If there’s one thing I make this weekend, oh please, oh please, let it be these shrimp. Note to self, buy garlic at the market this weekend.
Whipped Shortbread with Peanut Butter Cups from This is Not Diet Food
After making this shortbread last weekend, B.O.B. Bob insisted that I messed up the recipe because the cookies weren’t moist. We had a little discussion on what exactly shortbread is, and how it is supposed to be dry. I joked that if I made him peanut butter cup shortbread he’d eat it and become a fan. We’ll see if I’m right.
Cat Valentine Donuts from Sprinkle Pop
I know Valentine’s Day is technically over, however, does that mean that I can’t make cute little cats using donut holes? I think not. I’m totally going to make these kitty cats sometime soon. Maybe I’ll use them to decorate a strawberry pie. Wouldn’t that be yummy, not to mention adorable?
Roasted Buffalo Cauliflower with Blue Cheese Dressing from Savory Moments
I’m all about cauliflower lately, especially if it’s not cauliflower rice. Really, can’t cauliflower just be cauliflower? Especially when it’s roasted buffalo-style and served with blue cheese dressing. How can cauliflower rice even compare?
Maple Pecan Shortbread Cookies from My Baking Bliss
I had a discussion this week with one of my neighbors about how we both would like to up our shortbread game. This looks like a pretty yummy way to start, don’t you think? And they don’t require a whole lot of elaborate decoration either. Even better.
