Maple Sesame Sweet Potato Fries from Looney for Food
Last night, B.O.B. Bob asked for sesame seeds to sprinkle on his cherry tomatoes. An odd request, right? I can only assume that it’s because I made this Roasted Asian Green Bean Salad with Tomatoes a week ago and that he liked the new combination. Maybe he’ll like sesame seeds on sweet potatoes too.
Pepper Jack, Potato, and Bacon Soup from Cheese Curd in Paradise
I missed #SoupSaturdaySwappers last week because I had my dates mixed up. Big, huge, gigantic bummer, especially since the theme was “Cheesy Soups for Dairy Month.” Here is just one featured recipe that I’m totally drooling over. Might I suggest you try this Easy French Onion Soup if you’re in the mood for something cheesy?
Minty Blueberry Iced Tea from Cindy’s Recipes and Writings
I live for iced tea, perhaps because I don’t drink soda, kool-aid, or practically any other flavored drink. (Vodka soda with lemon not included.) So, to me, this glass of gorgeous summer iced tea looks pretty much like heaven in a glass. Make sure to check out our recipe for Summer Blueberry Crockpot Iced Tea.
Homemade Beef and Noodles from Little House Big Alaska
Oh my gosh, oh my gosh. I need this bowl of deliciousness in my life right now. I’ve totally been craving some comfort food lately and I’ve even been considering making this Super Duper Cheesy White Macaroni and Cheese to get it. This bowl of beef and noodles will have to do until then though.
Cheerwine Bundt Cake from Palatable Pastime
Y’all, It seems like forever since I made a bundt cake. In fact, the last one I made was this Lemon Maraschino Buttermilk Bundt Cake. So, after seeing this lovely looking pink bundt, it’s no surprise that I want to run, not walk, to my oven and bake a cake. P.S. Doesn’t this cake kind of look like a taco?
