Andrea Mellott, a long-time friend, who enjoys baking, cooking, and gardening, recently acquired four pounds of apples. She sent Brenna an email to ask what her Mommy (that would be me) would do if she had four pounds of apples lying around the kitchen. When Brenna posed this question to me, the first thing I thought was, dear lord, I’m glad it’s not me. After all the cooking I’ve done over the past couple of weeks, I’m ready for a break. So, Andrea, here are several delicious looking recipes featuring apples; but don’t count on me making them anytime soon, even though several of them look very tempting!
