Baked Chicken Tenders with Crushed Fritos
On days when I make a new recipe, I often share a picture on my personal Facebook page. Nine times out of ten, there are a few likes, but nothing truly memorable or earth-shattering. I don’t let it get to me. I know that if I see posts from the same three people every single day, day after day, the same probably goes for what I post. Or maybe my “friends” and I just don’t agree on what looks good when it comes to food. I sure as heck ain’t gonna start eating lima beans, sushi, or green peppers every day of my life just because someone I’m “friends” with on Facebook thinks they’re the bee’s knees. But with this recipe, it’s like Facebook not only wanted all my “friends” to see it, but to enthusiastically comment on it as well. Who knew? It seems that chicken tenders and Fritos are two things that simply no one can resist. And you know what? For once, it was actually kind of nice to have something in common with more than just three people on my “friends” list, even though I suspect it probably had more to do with some all-too-common Facebook algorithm glitch. When it comes to this recipe, I think I prefer to believe that this rare Facebook-commenting occurrence was because the irresistible combination of chicken tenders and Fritos was just so great, that people simply couldn’t scroll past it without “liking” or “loving” what they saw.
