Christmas is over. I feel cheated. I admit that I was way too busy throughout the season to actually enjoy it, and will hopefully find a way to remedy the situation next year. Brenna, on the other hand, has celebrating the holidays down to a science. She has developed the perfect blend of holiday entertaining when visitors stop by, testing out new toys left by Santa, rolling around the floor with ribbons and bows in her mouth, and taking long snugly cat naps when everything becomes overwhelming, so that she can build up energy for the next round of fun. Those special quiet moments are what keep me sane. My little girl is absolutely adorable when she’s sleeping. Too bad it doesn’t last very long.
