Recently, I was given the opportunity to be interviewed on the subject of Faith, Hope, Love, & Luck by Cilantro The Cooks Shop, a retailer of brand name cookware, bakeware, and kitchenware products. I felt that this was the perfect time to share a little bit of that interview, seeing how it’s the week of Faith, Hope, Love, & Luck’s 3rd Blogiversary. I’m hoping that by reading the responses to the questions I answered, it will allow you to get to know me a little bit better.
- “Your blog has a section on Bundt cakes. Given that many young people have no idea what a Bundt cake is, why did you choose to feature these desserts?”
I love the questions Cilantro The Cooks Shop came up with to ask me. They truly did take the time to get to know Faith, Hope, Love, & Luck, which kinda made my heart melt a wee bit. However, the Bundt question above totally shocked me. I really had never thought about the fact that the younger generation has no idea what a Bundt cake is. To me, Bundts are just a way of life. I even had to ask a few people around me if they agreed with this question and thought that the majority of the younger population would have no idea about this type of cake. They agreed. I guess you learn something new every day.
- If you could have any kitchen gadget or appliance that you wanted and money was no object, what would it be? (Sorry – they don’t make cat repellent machines!)
This question seriously made me laugh. If only there were cat repellent kitchen gadgets. Brenna has been known to attack a stray dangling cord, climb inside of a pot or pan behind my back, and even been smacked up the side of her tiny little head by a stray falling whisk. Those whisks never just never seem to stay where you put them.
As well as selling great cooking, baking, and kitchen merchandise, Cilantro The Cooks Shop also features its own blog with helpful hints; here are a few of my favorites.
