1971 – Cadbury Creme Egg Is Launched

Cream-filled eggs first appeared back in 1923. But the Cadbury Creme Egg we know and love today didn’t hit the shelves until 1971. This is about the only dessert I think I would ever personally choose to eat that has a Cadbury Egg inside of it. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a Caramel Egg, or because I’m totally craving chocolate right now, but I find this recipe absolutely BRILLIANT!
