I’m nervous. I didn’t think I would be, but that’s how I get when I put myself outside of my comfort zone. Today is my first cake decorating class. I keep trying to tell myself that it doesn’t matter if everyone else is more advanced than I am, but at the same time I’m privately praying that I know more than everyone else. Not because I want to be better than them, but because I don’t want to be that person holding everyone else back. This new discovery is what is going to get me through today…edible gold stars.
This was the post that started my obsession!
How did I not know about edible gold stars? Have I been living under a rock? After some research, I discovered several different ways to use them in everyday life.
A “Decorative Rim” for Pretty Drinks
I’m so excited to use these in my upcoming St. Patrick’s Day baking projects; so be prepared to be exposed to some serious glitter! Also, be on the lookout for some creative icing decorating projects in the near future. I caved in and purchased this, because I have absolutely no will power when it comes to buying anything that comes with a storage box that has multiple compartments to store items in! So now I need to bake and decorate several cakes and/or cupcakes to justify my purchase. If you’re in need of any cupcakes for upcoming holidays or celebrations, please feel free to contact me and we’ll work out a deal! I have a feeling that I’ll have a huge desire to try out a lot of new techniques and products.
