Every year I dread that one awful question, “What do you want for Christmas?” We all want things, but do we really NEED things? I’m guessing that most of you are like me, and the answer is usually a resounding no. I’m running out of space in my home to put things, so if an item doesn’t have a huge sentimental meaning or purpose in my life, it’s not worth having it around. (Note: Holiday decorations don’t count when it comes to this, they are a necessity in our household!) This year I have held back on making lists for my family, which hasn’t gone over so well. It seems that I am much more likely to get things I need if I actually let them know exactly what those items are. So B.O.B. Bob, family, miscellaneous people who want to perhaps buy the perfect gift for me, here’s the 2013 list! Some things seem way too practical, but know that they will be used. Some items seem crazy, like the D’Atri’s Steak & Cheese, but if you’ve ever had one you know why it’s on my list. (They just started doing mail order over the past year, so it’s actually possible for one to show up on my doorstep now!) I’ve even chosen a few impractical sparkly items to make it seem like a real Christmas list. P.S. I’m really crossing my fingers on the winning lotto ticket one!
