It’s my birthday, and it’s a big one. So since this day is all about little “old” me, I’m sharing some of the things that have me all ready to get down and party; and wouldn’t you know it, they’re all tartan. While I’m particularly fond of the Keith Tartan, lately I’ve been gaga over many red hued patterns that I seem to keep stumbling upon while out in the world. I think it must be because it’s that time of year, and of course I have not been able to resist purchasing anything I’ve come across that even remotely hints at the striped and checked Scottish inspired pattern, including these slippers available at Kohl’s, and this wrapping paper from The Container Store. So get ready to be cozy, while I share some of my absolute favorite Tartan things with you. Remember, it’s my birthday, and you have to humor me.

I’m wondering if I could attempt this DIY Nail Art | Christmas Tartan from Beautyill for my birthday. I think I’d be lucky to even get the base coat of red on without royally f’ing it up.
