Greetings from Cancun

Greetings from Cancun | Faith, Hope, Love, and Luck Survive Despite a Whiskered Accomplice

I’m sitting on a beach in Cancun as I write this. Jealous much? I would be. After a year of firsts without my brother, a few months of constantly having events to cook for and attend, a cat this surely must be going through some sort of mid-life crisis, and a bathroom renovation that is pretty much going nowhere, I felt like I deserved a time-out from life. So I decided to tag along with B.O.B. Bob to one of his “jobs” and spend a few days lounging at a resort in the sun doing absolutely nothing. I think it’s pretty apparent therefore that no cooking or baking will be happening. I’ll be drinking lots of margaritas, Mexican beer, and stuffing my face full of seafood and tortilla chips. Perhaps in my time off, I may even get to work on a few Faith, Hope, Love, & Luck posts for the near-future, cause Lord knows things are gonna get busy when we get back to Herndon. Thanksgiving and Christmas are upon us, and there just don’t seem to be enough seconds in the day to achieve all that needs to be done, but for right now, as I watch the brilliant blue hues of the incoming ocean water, none of that seems to matter.
