Summer is a great time to cook for other people. When you live in a household of three, two human beings and one very temperamental cat, you learn how nice is it to feed others during the middle months of the year. I love to cook, but I don’t want to eat what I’ve cooked for three meals. I think anyone can comprehend what I’m talking about. After three days of the same pasta dish, we all tend to lose our minds just a little bit; almost to the point where McDonald’s starts looking pretty darn good all of a sudden. Notice I said “almost.” Thankfully, it is so much easier in the summer to randomly scream out your back door, “Hey, what are you having for dinner? Want to come over? I’m making so and so.” Here’s what I want to make for those special people…although if I’m being honest, I really just want to make these recipes for myself.
