This Week’s Friday Frenzy is Hosted by The Saucy Southerner:
Hello again! It’s P~ from The Saucy Southerner hosting this week’s Friday Frenzy! I’m super-sizing this week’s event because there were just too darned many great posts on last week’s link party! You can follow my Friday Frenzy Pinterest Board to find every post each week in case you missed it.
This Week’s Features:
First up, is this incredible looking appetizer from our very own Amy from Savory Moments. I love garlic and herbs and this Fresh Garlic & Herb Dip looks amazing!
Next, I fell in love with these Cucumber Tea Sandwiches from Tracey at The Kitchen Is My Playground. Cucumber sandwiches are so light and refreshing; perfect for this time of year when the temperatures start to soar! I can’t wait for fresh cucumbers from my garden to make these!
Just coming home from two weeks at the beach, when I saw Jaxx from The Bearded Hiker had posted Healthy Shrimp Tacos, I knew I’d have to make them and transport us back to vacation mode!
Living in the South, once Spring is over Summer hits us hard. So, my mind always goes to light, healthy eating and this Quick & Easy Summer Chicken Pasta Salad from Susan at Crafting a Family caught my eye. It’s just the kind of thing I’d make when it starts feeling like you’re in an oven when you walk outside!
If you asked Mr. Saucy what his favorite vegetable is, he’d immediately tell you it was Okra! So when Julia over at Julia’s Simply Southern posted her Southern Stewed Okra & Tomatoes, well…that dish is one I make a LOT! It’s Classic Southern and always delicious!
Then, two sweet treats caught my eye. First, from Leslie at From Play Dates to Parties there is this awesome looking Strawberry Basil Granita! Perfect for Summertime eating, this needs to be at your next backyard party! Check it out for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, or any other time this summer!
Summer berries are always a favorite at our house and these gorgeous Chocolate Caramel Cream Cheese Crepes from Angie at Fiesta Friday are the perfect vehicle for all the best berries of Summer!
Finally, on the crafting scene, I couldn’t help but be fascinated by this Beachy Desk Makeover from Lindsey at Repurpose and Upcycle, since I own a desk almost exactly like that one! There may just be another project added to my list! Her post shows step-by-step how to get the look she attained. It turned out darling! Go see how she did it!
