I’ve been on a search for a neutral wreath for the past couple of years, with absolutely no luck. I simply wanted a wreath that I could add an embellishment to for those occasions that I don’t already own a wreath for. Yes, there aren’t many of those, considering I’ve gotten pretty handy at making my own wreaths over the years. (Must be from that Christmas I worked at McLean Landscapes at Mitchell’s Tavern making Christmas wreaths, which if nothing else, at least taught me how to make a proper bow.) I finally decided that this burlap wreath from Cumberland Wreaths would fit the bill perfectly, in that it can transition from season to season, and is very easy to dress up. Also, there was not enough money in this world, for me to consider cutting all the squares needed to make this wreath myself. Shauna Lima, of Cumberland Wreaths, must have a whole lot of patience to continually go through the process of creating this wreath. I can just imagine the nightmare scenes I would have to endure with Brenna, if I attempted to make this for myself. This wreath is truly beautiful and wonderfully made. I’m excited to see what I can do with it in the future, but for now, here’s how I have it dressed up for Halloween.
