The countdown to Halloween is dwindling down. Happy Happy Joy Joy! Only two more days to go before B.O.B. Bob and I get to don our costumes yet again, to excitedly pass out over 450 full-size candy bars to the little ghouls of Herndon. There are also 300 caramel apple lollies to pass out, dog treats for any canine trick or treaters, and a cauldron full of non-candy treats for those special little children who cannot have candy for one reason or another. I really hope we don’t run out of anything, but just in case, we still have backup normal candy. Do you think we went overboard? Nah, there’s no such thing when it comes to Halloween.

You better believe I’m making these Spider Chocolate Chip Cookies from I Am Baker to take to work on Friday. I foresee some more midnight baking in my future.
2
I am super into this Google Maps Costume from Halloween Ideas. If only I could get B.O.B. Bob to do a couples costume.
3
Crazy! Yes I am crazy about these Caramel Apple Cake Pops from Lauren Conrad. Imagine how great they would taste with apple cake.
4
I have a pumpkin so of course I need a Pumpkin Carving Idea like this one from Remove and Replace. Now I just need time to carve my masterpiece.
5
Every little ghoul needs to eat Blood Splatter Cookies from Annie’s Eats. Halloween is simply not creepy if blood is not involved.
6
So perhaps I don’t have the time or the need to make a full-blown fox costume, but that doesn’t mean I can’t make a Fox Tail like this one from A Girl and a Glue Gun to wear around my house. Imagine how great it would be to wear while packing up Halloween decorations and pulling out Christmas trees.
7
This is a cupcake that anyone can make. These Halloween Candy Corn Cupcakes from Jo-Ann are stupid simple, cute as a button, and the perfect recipe for using a boxed cake mix and tubs of pre-made frosting.
8
Guess what girl wants to get out her paper scissors? Yup, you guessed it; little ol’ me wants to spend a couple hours making these Jack Skellington’s Paper Spider Snowflakes from Zombie Pumpkins.
9
So I’m not a white chocolate fan, but when it comes to these Candy Corn Mummy Truffles from Mod Podge Rocks, perhaps I could make an exception.
10
How do you pick just one of these Masquerade Ball: DIY Halloween Masks from mom.me? They are just all too cuddly cute adorable to resist.
11
All right, I just have to say it. Pumpkin Poo. That’s right, you heard me correctly. Pumpkin Poo from Somewhat Simple needs to happen. If only to say Pumpkin Poo repeatedly. Pumpkin Poo, Pumpkin Poo, Pumpkin Poo!
12
Anyone remember this Autumn Apple Cream Cheese Cake from Faith, Hope, Love, & Luck last year? It’s the perfect cake for fall, and it doesn’t hurt that it’s drizzled with caramel and decorated with tiny plastic spiders.

Finally, we get to my favorite yummy for this week. These Bubbling Cauldron Cupcakes from Food Network may look like a lot of work, but they are really quite simple to make. Please make them, take pictures, and bring one to me.
