No question about it, my favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip. No matter how wonderful all of the other flavors look, I almost always choose my good ol’ standby. I can’t even mix my favorite flavor up with a scoop of something else either, because let’s just face facts, mint chocolate chip can and will overpower every other flavor. It is the king of ice cream; it reigns over all of the other peasant flavors, enrobed in its green creaminess, flecked with its chunks of glorious chocolate. Yes, I’m still talking about ice cream. I just really, really, really love my mint chocolate chip, and I’m looking forward to hopefully visiting Leopold’s Ice Cream while in Savannah this upcoming week for a scoop, or two, or three.
