Made with just a handful of ingredients like honey, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and a touch of paprika, this tangy honey mustard dressing is an equally delicious salad dressing or dip for pretzels, chicken tenders, and much more. Forget the store-bought salad dressing or honey mustard sauce; you’ll be amazed at how much better this simple and easy-to-make homemade version is.
When you’re always going out for meals, trying to eat healthier is hard. And, B.O.B. Bob and I have definitely been eating out a lot lately. Between holiday gatherings, birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and town events, it feels like we’ve eaten out at least two times for every time that we’ve rarely stayed in over the past few months. So, to kick the year off, on a somewhat healthier note, it felt like a wise decision to whip up a honey mustard dressing to encourage us to add a few more greens into our life and as a way to finally finish the bag of pretzels we purchased for the holidays which were never touched. Is there mayonnaise in this dressing? Yes. Is it 100% guilt-free? No. But, when you drizzle just a little bit of it over a salad, it’s certainly a lot healthier than a hamburger or a quesadilla. Baby steps, ya’ll. Baby steps.
