Lately, I’ve been trying to come up with a few new deviled egg recipes that don’t rely heavily on condiments or extra garnishes. Instead, I’m choosing to reach for spices and seasonings that almost everyone will have readily available in their pantry. This particular recipe was one that I especially enjoyed and I’m hoping that you will as well. The eggs were just a wee bit sweet but they also had loads of great flavor. Plus, as an added bonus, these deviled eggs were very quick to assemble, making them the perfect appetizer for when you don’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen.

Suggestions:

  • I use extra-large eggs for this recipe. If you are using smaller-sized eggs, you will need to adjust the amount of mayo you use in this recipe, so that the filling is not too runny. I suggest always using larger-sized eggs when making deviled eggs.

  • I used Sweet Hungarian Paprika for this recipe, however, you can use whichever variety of paprika you prefer.
  • I highly suggest you refrigerate these eggs for at least an hour or two before serving. Since these deviled eggs use a lot of dried seasonings, they need a little bit of time to rest and let their flavors meld. Make sure to gently cover the deviled eggs with plastic wrap before refrigerating them.
