Happy Thursday y’all. Please tell me that there will eventually be an end to this week; Friday can’t come soon enough. Today I thought I’d tell you about a few things that have been going on behind the scenes here at Faith, Hope, Love, & Luck. The biggest and most exciting news is that pretty soon the blog will look entirely different. I have hired a graphic designer, whose job is to basically make me and this blog look absolutely stunning. Fingers and paws crossed. I can’t wait to see the final designs and share them with all of y’all.

Seafood and Spinach Paella – The Crepes of Wrath

We’ve been winning a lot lately, which is never a bad thing. Last week I won a Paella Kit from The Crepes of Wrath, one of my favorite blogs. I’m excited to receive it and throw a once in a lifetime paella dinner party. Not to be outdone, Brenna also decided that it was time she pulled her weight around here and contributed by winning several new cat collars through a Mother’s Day photo contest from PetShed. Expect to see a whole lotta pictures of her modeling the goods very soon.

There are two other big announcements that have to do with winning as well, but Brenna and I are keeping them secret for now. Get ready to celebrate some exciting news in the weeks ahead.

Last Friday, Faith, Hope, Love, & Luck’s Drunken Thai Peanut Hummus was featured on Virginia Bloggers. You can check it out HERE. This recipe seems to have grabbed everyone’s attention; I’ve heard so much great feedback from it. This is going be the go-to snacky-snack of the summer. I can just feel it in my bones.

Hellmann’s Mayonnaise gave us a shout out yet again on Instagram. A month ago I told you about their shout out for Crockpot Egg Salad with Capers, but this time around it was our Mexican Street Corn Salad that grabbed their attention. (#yesHellmanns) Speaking of Instagram, have you seen their new logo that was just revealed this week? I’m still undecided about which I like better, the new version or the old. Whichever one you prefer, just make sure to follow us HERE on Instagram @faith_hope_love_and_luck. It’s the only place you can see exclusive behind the scenes photos of what’s to come, as well as adorable candid shots of Lady Brenna doing her thing.

Joey, my “Second Husband,” made another DeLallo Italian Marketplace delivery yesterday. You know what that means? Pepperoni rolls, high quality olive oil and garlic-infused olive oil, fancy Italian seasoning, four varieties of cheese, and lots and lots of yummy premium bacon. Joey is pretty much the best, even if he does root for the crappy, sucky, mind-numbing Penguins. I love him anyway. How could I not? He knows the way straight to my heart. Bacon.
