At the end of each year, it’s always nice to take a look back and see what worked and what didn’t, here at Faith, Hope, Love, & Luck. Today we’re sharing seven of our favorite recipes, which in our opinion, worked out extremely well. They’re also the same recipes that we shared each month in our First Monday Favorites. You may sometimes wonder each month why it’s so important for us to share which recipe we found to be the best from the month before. Well, this right here is why. It’s all too easy to forget at the end of the year just exactly which recipes were over-the-top amazing. By sharing a favorite recipe with you each month, it’s a whole lot easier to keep track of. The recipes below are definitely our personal favorites.

1

Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza Pasta Sauce

Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza Pasta Sauce - Looking for a pasta sauce that's packed with flavor and doesn't come from a jar? This pepperoni and Italian sausage loaded pasta sauce is like having a pizza without the actual crust. Serve it over pasta, gnocchi, garlic bread, or even use it as a dipping sauce for grilled mozzarella cheese sandwiches.

4

Paprika & Oregano Marinated Pork Chops

Paprika & Oregano Marinated Pork Chops - The secret to these paprika and oregano marinated boneless thick-cut pork chops is marinating them for a full two days, which gives them an amazing flavor. The fact that the marinade is also made using everyday ingredients almost every person will have on hand in their pantry definitely makes this a must-make recipe.

5

Deviled Eggs with Bacon & Bourbon Glaze

Deviled Eggs with Bacon & Bourbon Glaze - Unlike most deviled egg recipes, this one calls for 15 hard-boiled eggs instead of 12. You'll have 24 deviled eggs to serve at your cookout, picnic, or party, and 6 to sample and taste-test beforehand. No more sneaking a deviled egg, thus leaving an empty space in your egg tray. And, with tons of bacon and a homemade bourbon glaze, these are deviled eggs you're definitely going to want to sample.

6

Sweet & Spicy Red Chili Garlic Sauce

Sweet & Spicy Red Chili Garlic Sauce - This sweet and spicy homemade condiment, made with red chili peppers and a healthy amount of garlic, can be used to make just about any food more flavorful. It's really up to you how to use this sauce. You can use it to baste grilled seafood, marinate steak, or even to enhance the flavor of your favorite salad dressing or dip.

7

Saucy Honey & Balsamic Blueberry Jam

Saucy Honey & Balsamic Blueberry Jam - There's nothing quite like homemade jam, although sometimes it can be just a little too sweet, as well as a little too thick in texture. This saucy jam uses honey and balsamic vinegar to give it just the right amount of sweetness and is cooked for a shorter amount of time, resulting in a saucelike consistency. It's perfect for spooning over desserts, like ice cream or cake, or even onto warm breakfast toast, biscuits, or muffins.

8

Weeknight Rice Pilaf with Peas & Chives

Weeknight Rice Pilaf with Peas & Chives - This delicious side dish is the perfect accompaniment to just about any busy weeknight meal. It takes less than 30 minutes to make, only requires a few minutes of stirring, and can be made using one pot or one pan. And since it also contains frozen peas, it will save you from having to make an additional vegetable side dish.

9

Soda-Glazed Crescent Roll Apple Dumplings

Soda-Glazed Crescent Roll Apple Dumplings - Apple dumplings are by far, one of the best fall desserts, however, they can be a little time-consuming to make. By using crescent rolls for the crust and brown soda or root beer to help make the sauce, you can save time and still have an amazing, apple-filled treat for dessert. Simply put, these sweet crescent roll apple dumplings are dangerously delicious.

10

French Pumpkin & Ham Quiche with Brie

French Pumpkin & Ham Quiche with Brie - Traditional quiche is given a French twist with the addition of Herbes de Provence and creamy brie cheese. And as if that wasn't delicious enough, it's also given a seasonal twist as well with the addition of diced autumn pumpkin. This pumpkin, ham, and brie quiche will definitely make you wish fall could last all year long.

11

Cranberry Crescent Rolls with Maple Icing

Cranberry Crescent Rolls with Maple Icing - A little leftover cranberry sauce goes a long way when used in these light and airy cranberry crescent rolls drizzled with maple icing. So this Thanksgiving, make sure you have enough cranberry sauce to make these for breakfast. They're the perfect way to start off the holiday and you'll love how fast, simple, and delicious they are.

12

Potato Leek Soup with Herbes de Provence

Potato Leek Soup with Herbes de Provence - There's nothing quite like a bowl of soup, except perhaps a bowl of soup that's just a little bit fancy. Adding Herbes de Provence and sliced carrots to traditional potato leek soup definitely helps to take it to the next level, making it the perfect dish to serve when you have company coming over for dinner. Although, it's just as good to make for an evening you're all by yourself too.
